Baan Thai Home Thai Restaurant

Nora was craving for soup for lunch last friday. Any soup, western or asian, just anything which is soupy, and she asked me to think of a place for lunch. And tomyam is the word from me and she kept salivating! LOL. We were at tanjung bungah area as we needed to drop Ivan (Nora's son) to her parents house and Baan Thai is the nearest restaurant we could find of for her craving. The food were okay but not the best of thai food I've tried. Obviously couldnt compare to those yummy ones I had in Bangkok! So if you are going to Baan Thai, please do not order their Thap Thim Krop, because it's the WORST I ever had!!!!

Lunas Famous Roasted Duck

I went to Kulim yesterday for a health talk event on the topic "The Ear - Hearing Organ & Balance at HOYA @ Kulim Hi-Tech Park. Since the talk finished at lunch time, so we decided to have lunch nearby. My audiologist is a Kulim girl (Thank God for that), so she knows well about the area. Seriously, I never been there before, even if I did, I must be very young back then. I have totally no idea about the area. Anyway, she suggested that we head on for Lunas Roasted Duck rice, which is kinda famous. But she mentioned as her opinion, there is another stall which is better but not famous. But she decided to bring us to the famous one, thinking that at least we managed to try the famous stall. Hence, we were at this shop, Restaurant Tan Kee, trying out the famous crispy roasted duck rice.

Hmm... after consuming this, the result was not very satisfying. According to some friends, the quality has dropped once it got really famous. Sigh, why cant they maintain their standard??
We should have try another stall which is not so famous then. Nevermind, we will always have another chance. =)

Facial Session - A Woman Must Have

For a woman, having a slim body and pretty face is her dream. Don't you think so? Haha. Well, I haven't manage to slim down after so much of food w/o exercise, I still have to take care of my face as well. I'm not as pretty as some other girls would be, but I think I'm not that ugly either. =P Afterall, age is catching up, I would love to hear people say that I'm still in my early twenties. LOL. Bottom line is, facial is IMPORTANT for a woman, even if you are married, or engaged or even in a relationship! You will always want to look good in front of your man (in a way to capture his heart). So, ladies, let's go for FACIAL!You can choose to go the Beauty Centre out there for your facial. But sometimes you can do a simple one at home. =)

For me, I prefer it to do it at home as it's more economical, save some money!

Japanese Sushi

Haven't consume Sushi for such a long time. The last time was months ago. Not sure why it hasn't been in our dinner list for quite some time. Anyway, we were suppose to go for Japanese Steamboat Buffet last weekend @ Yuan Izakaya Restaurant at New World Park. Due to it was still in the promotion period at that time, so the restaurant was fully booked!No luck for us to enjoy it (at the discounted price). Anyway, the feeling or temptation for Japanese food is still there, never fade, never vanished. So we headed on to Sushi King this weekend ( a cheaper version of Japanese Food). It's still yummy, and enough to satisfy the craving.....LOL

Baby went Exercise with Me

Recently, I've put on a lot of weight. So, I've decided to go on diet and to start exercise. This week is my 2nd week. I've fix every tuesday and thursday will be my exercise day, and I will bring along my little fluffy pom pom, Baby, to go along with me for 2 rounds at the park. Then I will bring her home so that I can continue my exercise. You know, she is such a small size dog, after 2 rounds, she will be exhausted.

As usual, today I brought her along for my exercise. She was so excited when I pick up her collar and leash. Jumping up and down, wagging her tail.

As I've said earlier, we normally will take 2 rounds, but she will be a little bit tired when we are in the 2nd round. Anyway, she usually managed to finish 2 rounds so far. However, she was too lazy today!

A Day @ the Spa

After so much of hard work and stress, we definitely need a BREAK. A short one will relax our mind and soul ~ Soul Balance. In our annual dinner last month, company gave us a complimentary voucher for a choice of essential care facial or an energy body massage. Obviously, we need a massage more than anything else (^_^)v. We made phone calls to get to know more about the complimentary massage. The complimentary one is for only 30 minutes massage (You can choose which part of body that you preferred) but if you want to add on another 30 minutes (in total 1 hour), you just have to add on RM 25 only and you can enjoy a full body massage. (The whole thing worth RM98) So, why not?

The spa area is not very big with downstairs are mainly for massage and upstairs are mainly for facial session. Apologized for not a clear picture taken, as the area was a bit dark (romantic they called)

A Pair of Shoes Followed Me Home...

Finally, I got myself a new pair of working shoes (flat). I know it's about time for me to spend some $$$ for a new pair, but I just couldnt believe that it's so near. The current one I'm having are so worn out, they even got holes at the bottom. I didnt realise the severe condition of my shoes until last tuesday. It was a wet day, whole day was raining from morning till evening. I was out for lunch and realised that my feet were wet!!! Oh my, that was embarrassing! At that very moment, I knew that the time has come!! = ) (A good reason to buy new shoes)
